The event will showcase artist Linda Hoard and will be in conjunction with the opening of a solo exhibition of her paintings at the Vision Gallery, in Seattle, Washington’s Pioneer Square, Thursday June 5th, 2008 from 6pm (Pacific Standard Time) to 9pm.

_8_O_8_ is an online virtual space where artists connect, create and interact through the shared exchange of remote audio, video and text based objects in real time. It is a new media artistic experiment that reaches out to ignite and engage remote creative resources through the synergy of the spontaneous moment.

• Live webcast of the opening in Washington. During the month of June Linda Hoard will conduct online virtual interview, and discuss a mural project that will be ongoing through the conclusion of the exhibit on June 30. A virtual progressive viewing of the development of the mural will be available through _8_O_8_ at Sheila’s Portside Restaurant and Lounge, in Poulsbo, at scheduled dates and times.

• Catgotwasted – pumping original techno music and lyrics via live virtual audio connection direct from the United Kingdom. Performance to include remix of Red and other debut releases.

• Live interactions with artists, and guests on location and connecting with artists in remote areas internationally. Live spontaneous video, audio, virtual art making. A party good time.
